Newly released ISIS hostage video from 2013 highlights harrowing story of captured female humanitarian

In one of the most heartbreaking videos in recent memory, Kayla Mueller — an American humanitarian who was murdered after being taken hostage by ISIS — pleads for someone to help her as her life is in grave danger.

Recorded before her death in February of 2015, the newly released video was created by members of ISIS in order to prove that Mueller was still alive. In the video, Mueller, dressed in a hijab, states, “My name is Kayla Mueller. I need your help. I’ve been here too long and I’ve been very sick and it’s very terrifying here.”

After being abducted along with her boyfriend, Omar Alkhani, Mueller was made a “wife” of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdad, who repeatedly raped her, according to a teenage witness who escaped a similar fate.

If this doesn’t expose the brainwashed Regressive Left to the legitimate dangers of radical Islamic terrorism, then what will? At this point, it seems as though they’ll make an endless amount of excuses to justify letting these religious extremists literally get away with murder.

All of the rape, all of the oppression, all of the hate, all of the violence is excused as being “their culture.” Islamophobia is a ridiculous term that shouldn’t be considered a legitimate rebuttal to anything. Criticizing a violent ideology is not bigotry — it’s logic.

The life of Kayla Mueller — a young woman who just wanted to improve the quality of life in war-torn areas of the world — was cut short because a group of evil men believe that their god demanded that they assault her. It’s like something out of a horror film, but it’s real life.

These kinds of atrocities must end if we ever expect to have peace on earth, and the only way to ensure that is by being open and honest about what is causing these acts of terror.
