Is COVID-19 a product of the Chinese military?

A Chinese scientist has come forward with evidence that she says proves the communist Chinese government is responsible for unleashing the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a medical researcher who works in Hong Kong, recently published an article suggesting that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was synthesized in laboratories controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Entitled, "Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route," Dr. Li-Meng's paper offers a plethora of details to back her claim, not the least of which include anomalies concerning its origins.

As you may recall from the early days of the plandemic, the initial claim was that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) originated in bats sold as meat at a Wuhan "wet" market. The virus somehow gained the ability to spread from animals to humans during this time, and the rest is history.

But Dr. Li-Meng and her colleagues say this politically motivated "consensus" is all wrong, and undermines the very legitimacy of science. In her view, the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was obviously manipulated in a lab before "escaping" and wreaking global havoc.

"China has claimed that a bat coronavirus named RaTG13 is the closest relative to the COVID-19 virus, but RaTG13 is not actually a virus because no biological samples exist," writes Col. Lawrence Sellin in a piece for the Citizens Commission on National Security.

"It is only a genome sequence of a virus for which there are now serious questions about its accuracy," he adds.

Using genetic engineering, COVID-19 could have been developed in as little as six months

According to Dr. Li-Meng, RaTG13 is a diversion from the true origins of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), which as we previously reported appears to be the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), China's only level-four biosafety laboratory.

WIV and other laboratories overseen by China's People's Liberation Army have been harboring CZ45, ZXC21, and other bat coronavirus strains they collected from Zhoushan, China, and these have been used to genetically engineer new coronaviruses like COVID-19, Dr. Li-Meng contends.

Under the supervision of the Third Military Medical University in Chongqing and the Research Institute for Medicine of Nanjing Command in Nanjing, the aforementioned bat coronaviruses were first isolated and characterized between July 2015 and Feb. 2017. They were then modified to become bioweapons like the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), which is unusually infectious in humans.

Evidence of this can be found in the structure of COVID-19, which is bounded by two "restriction sites" that are apparently not found in any other bat coronaviruses. This modification made it easy for scientists to "cut and paste" components from other viruses, including HIV and AIDS, into the "viral backbone" of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) also contains a furin polybasic cleavage site with an amino acid sequence of proline-arginine-alanine, or PRRA, that facilitates membrane fusion between the virus and human cells. This sequence is widely recognized for its ability to enhance pathogenicity and transmissibility, particularly in humans.

The two arginine amino acids in the PRRA sequence are coded by the sequence CGG-CGG, a tandem that, again, is a rarity in nature, strongly suggesting that it is the product of genetic manipulation.

Dr. Li-Meng's paper explains in detail how Chinese laboratories could have utilized this process to conjure up the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) in a matter of just six months.

"Given the scientific censorship that has been underway since the onset of the pandemic, we are only beginning to scratch the surface regarding the laboratory origin of the COVID-19 virus," Sellin concludes.

"Further investigations are warranted and must be forthcoming," he adds. "With nearly a million dead and trillions of dollars in economic losses, the stakes are too high to ignore, especially if this deadly virus was a product of China's military."
