How to be a real food champion

Weight loss, poor sleeping habits, premature aging and chronic pain are unfortunate realities that plague American life. These hurdles can often be overcome with a change in lifestyle and eating habits, but many people don’t know where to begin.

Anyone seeking to improve their general well-being through natural remedies would be well-advised to attend this year’s Natural Medicine Healing & Wellness Summit. The food revolution

Among the experts speaking at this year’s summit is Ocean Robbins, co-host and CEO of the Food Revolution Network. During his presentation, “How To Be a Real Food Champion,” Robbins will expose the truth about GMOs, unveil breakthroughs in food science and how you can heal your body naturally through healthy eating. In addition, you’ll learn how to reduce your risk for common illnesses like Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease and various cancers.

Ocean’s passion for healthy eating is grounded in family roots. His father, Irvine Robbins, founded Baskin-Robbins (31 flavors) ice cream company. Ocean’s brother, John, was groomed from birth to join the company, but rejected a life of fame and fortune due to concerns over the health consequences of ice cream. He went on to author the international seller, Diet for America, which earned him a reputation on various television and radio programs.

With a health figure like his dad, Ocean’s interest in clean eating and the environment took flame at a young age. At the age of 16, Ocean co-founded the organization YES! (Youth for Environmental Sanity), which he directed for 20 years, “connecting, inspiring and mobilizing visionary young leaders worldwide,” according to his website. He has spoken to more than 200,000 people and lead hundreds of seminars for leaders from more than 65 nations. Ocean is also the author of the book The Power of Partnership and co-authored with his father Voices of the Food Revolution. He currently serves as an adjunct professor for Chapman University.

Ocean’s efforts to make the world a better place through healthy eating have been recognized by numerous organizations, including the Giraffe Project, the National Alliance for Animals (The Compassion Youth Award), E Magazine (The Kid Heroes Fall of Fame), and EarthSave. Time and Audubon magazines described him as one of the heroes of the new millennium. He is a recipient of various awards, including the national Jefferson Award for Outstanding Public Service by an Individual 35 Years Or Younger, and the Harmon Wilkinson Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Social Sciences. He currently resides in the mountains of Santa Cruz, California with his wife Michele and their twin boys, River and Bodhi.

Take back your health!

Healthy living isn’t a mystery but a skill that can be cultivated. At the summit, you’ll learn how to boost your energy, age gracefully, improve your memory and various anti-stress approaches that actually work. Most importantly, you’ll reduce costly doctor visits by taking back your health. This is a summit you can’t afford to miss. Register for this online free event today at
