Anonymous trolls ISIS by hijacking their Twitter accounts and flooding them with gay pride

Controversial hacktivist group Anonymous responded to the Orlando nightclub massacre by hacking into the Twitter accounts of ISIS members and sympathizers and uploading pictures promoting equality and gay pride.

Choosing to troll for all the right reasons, the once-demonized group of computer hackers have slowly begun to receive mainstream acceptance. This latest act of defiance at the hands of a person calling themselves the Ghost of No Nation (@WauchulaGhost) helps further the idea that while these people may be hackers — they’re hackers for justice.

All of the hacked profiles were renamed “Jacked by a Ghost” and were promptly covered in rainbow colors, gay porn, and phrases like “I’m gay and I’m proud.” Most of the profiles have since been deleted by Twitter — since they violate their terms and agreements — though a few still remain at this time.

The Ghost of No Nation’s Twitter feed is now filled with pro-LGBT comments and statements inspiring others to stand up to radical Islamic views. In a posted image, the hacker wrote, “Everyone thinks of changing the World, but no one thinks of changing it themselves. Only YOU can make the change you seek. Stand up, be heard and fight for what you believe in. Help make this world a better place.”

Hopefully the Ghost continues their reign of terror on intolerance in this cheeky, eyebrow-raising manner.

If we’re going to combat these disgusting ideologies that threaten the American way of life, we have to stop holding our tongues. The only way ISIS and radical Islam will be defeated is if normal, everyday people do everything in their power to denounce their twisted way of thinking.

If the liberal media won’t stand up for the LGBT community in solidarity against ISIS, it’s comforting to know that Anonymous will.
