Pro-Trump ad launced by NRA stars Benghazi survivor

On June 29, the National Rifle Association (NRA) launched a pro-Trump ad narrated by Benghazi Survivor Mark “Oz” Geist, USMC (ret.).

Geist was in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 and survived the terror attack that cost four other Americans their lives: Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

The ad shows Geist walking through a cemetery, talking about how some people say they “won’t be voting this year because their candidate didn’t win.” He then looks at the camera and says, “Well, I know some other people who won’t be voting this year either.” The camera then pans the cemetery, revealing soldiers’ gravestones – a symbol of American deaths suffered while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

Geist then looks at the camera again and sharpens the focus of the ad by saying, “Hillary as president? No thanks. I served in Benghazi. My friends didn’t make it.”

The ad shows scenes of the destruction caused by the Benghazi attack. Geist then alludes again to Stevens, Smith, Woods, and Doherty, saying, “They did their part, do yours.”

Three words flash on the screen: “STOP. HILLARY. NOW.” The ad then ends with “TRUMP 2016” center screen.
