Nandini Jammi, the co-founder of Sleeping Giants, issued a messy public resignation from the group in which she accused the other group co-founder, Matt Rivitz, of using his white male privilege to oppress her.

Sleeping Giants is an organization that whips digital lynch mobs into frenzies against their political opposition, in order to get them censored on corporate social media platforms and deprive them of their livelihood.
“Together, we built a community of 400,000+ followers, who helped us lose Breitbart 90% of its ad revenues, put Bill O’Reilly out of a job and deplatform hate figures like Alex Jones and Milo Yiannopoulos,” she bragged in her article.
The leadership atop the group has fractured as the organization has gained power. Jammi claims that Rivitz exerted control over the organization and used his privilege to muscle her out of the day-to-day operations.
“I want to share with you my journey with Sleeping Giants, why taking credit matters and why you must fight for yourself as hard as you do for your cause. I want to show you how a woman of color almost disappeared from the movement she built, and what you can achieve when you refuse to follow the rules your white male “leader” sets for you,” Jammi wrote.
Jammi says that Rivitz refused to acknowledge that she was the co-founder of the organization and treated her like an assistant rather than a partner.
“I didn’t have the media attention or connections that Matt did. I wasn’t 45, white and I certainly didn’t know anyone in advertising. I was young, unknown and invisible,” she explained.
Things changed when Jammi just started referring to herself as co-founder of the organization without Rivitz’s approval. She explains that she no longer has to rely on this privileged man to gain prominence as a left-wing activist.
“The simple act of calling myself co-founder changed so much. People looked up to me as a leader and respected what I had to say. Doors were opening and I had a pathway into the adtech industry that allowed me to start building the next thing,” she wrote.
“Matt and I never appeared anywhere together. He never shared invitations with me. He shut doors on me, instead of bringing me in. It would cost Matt exactly nothing to have two leaders. It would only have made us more powerful,” she added.
She finally made the decision to leave Sleeping Giants after Rivitz refused to collaborate with her on the group’s #StopHateForProfit social media campaign. His lack of respect for her point of view is too insulting for her to remain in the organization, she believes.
“I’m sorry I have to leave Sleeping Giants. There was always space for both of us, just not on this campaign,” Jammi wrote.
Jammi and Rivitz have worked to enable Big Brother for the purposes of pushing their left-wing political agenda, but now Jammi is sicking the social media mob after Rivitz. This could be seen intersectional poetic justice of sorts.
