If we still lived in colonial times, the modern Democratic Party would be viewed with as much bile and venom as our founders viewed the English crown, because King George was the same kind of authoritarian who ruled and lorded over his subjects instead of governing via the will of the people.
Democrats' reaction to President Donald Trump’s decision to name a successor to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg before the Nov. 3 election, and the GOP-controlled Senate’s intention to give its advice and consent in approving the nominee, proves the point: The Democratic Party doesn’t want to govern, it wants to rule. And they don’t care if the have to blow up our system of government in order to gain power.
We already know Democrats and their Marxist Leftist cadres in the Deep State have been trying to depose Trump since he was elected. They can’t do to him what they did to John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert Kennedy; times are much different now. The Trump-supporting public would no doubt go to war over the assassination of their president. So the deep state has had to work behind the scenes to fabricate events — the fake Russian collusion scandal; the phony impeachment; the endless accusations of scandal and malfeasance — and continually accusing Trump of being an authoritarian when, in fact, it’s the Democrat Left that is planning a violent revolution.
That’s what’s going on with the lawsuits and the ballot-stuffing. But there’s more: Once Dems steal power, they have no intention of ever giving it up again.
How is that possible? Because once they lay claim to the House, the Senate, and the White House, they’re going to do away with all impediments that risk them losing power.
The one area where the Marxist left believes it can guarantee perpetual power is through the undermining of the Constitution via the federal court system. In addition to naming left-wing activist judges to the federal bench, Democrats are now openly plotting to greatly expand the Supreme Court with scores more activists — young ones who, with their lifetime appointments, will circumvent our founding document for decades to come.
On Monday, NBC’s Today show brought on former Obama administration hack Neal Katyal (who was neutrally labeled an “NBC News legal analyst”) to argue that Republicans were trying to “break the Supreme Court” by nominating a replacement for the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He even claimed Democrats would be “well within their rights” to pack the high court after the GOP had “cheated and stolen” seats.
Did you catch that? By fulfilling their constitutional obligation, Republicans and President Trump are “stealing” Supreme Court seats (even though majorities of voters in the several states elected more Republicans to the Senate than Democrats — that’s ‘stealing’ a high court seat to these power-mad lunatics). Worse, Katyal then justifies blowing up the system based on his false narrative and straw man argument.
“Professor Katyal, what does all of this, this fight and how Democrats might respond, mean for the institution of the court, kind of that last institution that is somewhat removed from politics?” co-host Savannah Guthrie asked in an obviously teed-up question. After he falsely claimed that “Justice Ginsburg’s passing away is itself just so damaging to the Supreme Court,” Katyal turned his attention to the GOP.
“I mean it is crazy that just because the Republicans are afraid they can’t win the presidential election that they’re willing to try and break the Supreme Court in the process,” he said.
Huh? There’s no evidence that Republicans don’t think they’re going to win elections (and the presidency). In fact, Trump and Republicans are going to fill Ginsburg’s seat precisely because they are convinced Democrats are going to try to steal congressional seats — and maybe even the presidency itself.
Where do you think all of these court cases the Biden and Trump camps are going to bring will eventually wind up?
The Supreme Court. And a 4-4 tie is not an option.
So Trump and the GOP have no choice — they have to fill Ginsburg’s seat. The survival of our republic may well depend on it.
