And he says it’s time to get ready.

During a segment on his "War Room Podcast," Bannon warned that The Economist has issued a new issue of their newsletter with the headline: "The Shortage Economy."

Bannon called it a "tip sheet" for the elites and warns that America should take it seriously. He suggests that if even mainstream sources like the Economist are predicting doom, then it’s time for the American people to prepare and get ready.

"The revered Economist, what is their headline? The Shortage Economy. America needs to prepare… Get ready for the bleakest, darkest Christmas in living memory… This is far beyond stagflation," Bannon said.

"We’re entering into another faze. It’s all the converging forces. Remember, elections have consequences, illegal elections have catastrophic consequences," he added.

"This is why we’re in dangerous territory right now. Biden’s fiscal and monetary stimulus is the most reckless thing in American history. And you know who’s going to pay for that, the workers… I’m gonna tell you, This Christmas, it’s going to hit and it’s going to hit like nobody’s business. And nobody else in all media is going to tell you this," he added.

Earlier this week, a trove of leaked documents shows that the Biden administration has released tens of thousands of migrants who crossed the border illegally into the United States and is doing little to nothing to track their whereabouts.

What’s more, according to Fox News’ exclusive reporting, the administration is broadly employing — some experts suggest improperly using — migrant parole authority to justify giving up to 30,000 of them since August eligible for work permits.

"The documents give a partial snapshot into how the Biden administration has been releasing enormous numbers of migrants into the U.S., often with little to no oversight, supervision or immediate risk of deportation," Fox News reported.

Network correspondent Bill Melugin posted the leaked documents on Twitter, adding in a thread: "According to Border Patrol documents provided by a source, the federal gov has released over 70,000 illegal immigrants into the U.S. since August 6, including 31,977 released via parole (temp legal status, eligible for work permits). 94,570 released via NTR since 3/20."

"Additionally, the documents show that on a single day in Del Rio sector, (September 28th), 128 single adult illegal immigrants were released from Border Patrol custody *without* ATD (alternatives to detention), which include tracking mechanisms like ankle monitors," he added.

"Under federal law, parole for noncitizens is done on a case by case basis, and only for "urgent humanitarian reasons" or "significant public benefit". Former U.S. BP Chief Rodney Scott tells me he only granted 5-10 per year as a sector chief. Biden admin 31,977 did in 2 months," Melugin added.

"DHS declined to give us a formal comment or response, instead referring us to CBP. A CBP official did not dispute the numbers and gave us this statement. Nobody answered my question as to why so many paroles are being granted, or why single adults are being released w/ no ATD," he continued.

Fox News continued:

Since March 20, at least 94,570 illegal immigrants have been released into the U.S. with Notices to Report. Those who receive such a notice are only required to check in with an ICE office when they get to their final destination – which could be anywhere across the country. Those who check in are not deported or detained as their immigration proceedings move forward.

Meanwhile, since Aug 6th, the administration has released roughly 32,000 immigrants into the U.S. via parole – which gives migrants a form of legal status and the ability to apply for work permits.

Federal law says parole authority is to be used on a case-by-case basis for "urgent humanitarian purposes" and "significant public benefit." Typically only a handful of parole cases are granted by officials, but the Biden administration has been using it more broadly, including in its parole of tens of thousands of Afghans into the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome.

Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott, who initially served under President Biden, looked over the documents and told Fox News that he believes the administration is radically abusing its parole authorities.

"By law and regulation, a parole shall only be granted on a case by case basis and only for significant humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. Neither of these appear to apply to the current situation," he said, adding that the number of paroles brings into question the entire review process.

"As a field chief, I don’t believe I ever approved more than 5 or 10 paroles in a year," he added. "When I did, I ensured that the alien was monitored continuously and was detained or removed as soon as the circumstances allowed."
