Biden regime blames Russia-Ukraine conflict for rising inflation, deflecting from the many decades of corrupt monetary policy that actually caused it
By Ethan Huff // Feb 24, 2022

For at least the past year, prices on virtually everything, including gasoline, have been spiking due to inflation. But the Biden regime is blaming Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which officially began on Feb. 23, 2022.

Right before the bombs started to drop, Joe stood before the nation and claimed using his teleprompter that the runaway inflation Americans are seeing is because of Vladimir Putin, and not the Federal Reserve and its corrupt fiat monetary policies.

Somehow Putin's aggression against Ukraine is retroactive, according to the Resident-in-Chief, meaning Putin's attack on Ukraine is supposedly responsible for all the inflation that occurred last year as well.

China Joe stood up and declared that this new war will "have costs," including even higher energy prices. The costs associated with filling up your gas tank, heating your home, and transporting your food via truck to the grocery store are about to skyrocket, was the gist of Biden's message to America.

"Up to this point, a large chunk of the U.S. population really didn't have much interest in following the conflict in Ukraine, but now it is going to have a huge impact on every single one of us," warns The Washington Standard.

Germany imposes indefinite halt on Nord Stream 2 pipeline project, sending natural gas prices soaring

On Tuesday, a day before the Ukraine invasion, Germany announced that the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea gas pipeline project will be placed on hold indefinitely amid rising tensions.

That pipeline is designed to double the flow of Russian gas directly into Germany, but after Russia formally recognized two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine, German authorities decided to press the pause button on it.

"Europe's most divisive energy project, worth $11 billion, was finished in September, but has stood idle pending certification by Germany and the European Union," reports explain.

While the decision will certainly hurt Russia to some degree, it might hurt Germany, and Europe as a whole, even more. Immediately following the announcement, the price of natural gas in Europe shot up by about 10 percent.

According to reports, this is just the beginning for the energy crunch in Europe. Soon, says Dmitry Medvedev, Europeans are "going to pay €2.000 for 1.000 cubic meter of natural gas."

Should the price of natural gas actually soar this high, all of Europe will be devastated. People will not be able to afford heat or other basic necessities that depend on a steady and abundant flow of natural gas from Russia.

The price of crude oil is also surging, topping $105 for the first time since 2014 following the Russian attack against Ukraine.

Both the United States and Europe have promised the "toughest sanctions" against Russia in response, which could cause the energy situation in Europe to get even worse.

"If sanctions affect payment transactions, Russian banks and possibly also the insurance that covers Russian oil and gas deliveries, supply outages cannot be excluded," warned Commerzbank analyst Carsten Fritsch.

According to Dementia Joe, Americans should expect similar disruptions and skyrocketing prices because this is just the cost of "defending freedom."

"We need to be honest about that," he said with a straight face, promising to use "every tool" he knows of to try to reduce gas and energy prices.

"I want to limit the pain the American people are feeling at the gas pump."

Sure you do, Joe.

Meanwhile, home prices rose a whopping 18.8 percent in 2021, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index, this being the biggest increase in 34 years of data. Is Putin also to blame for this, Joe?
