Chicago mayor pushing real insurrection: Lightfoot urges “call to arms” over SCOTUS draft opinion on Roe
By JD Heyes // May 13, 2022

Once again, the Democrat left has proven that it is truly the party of violence and 'revolution.'

The mayor of one of the most violent cities in the country has actually issued a "call to arms" following the unprecedented leak of a draft U.S. Supreme Court decision that overturns the wrongly-decided Roe v. Wade case legalizing abortion in all 50 states in 1973.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot claimed the ruling meant that the LGBTQ community, of which she is a part, is somehow going to be 'targeted' next.

"To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms," she wrote in a Monday tweet, adding" "We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!"

This is an outright lie. Literally, no one in Congress or the federal courts is "coming for" Americans who identify with the LGTBQ community. No one. That is outrageous on its face.

But more so, even as a couple has just been sentenced to jail time for doing nothing but taking a selfie in the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6, this cretin in Chicago is calling on people to arm up and fight -- her words, not ours.

And in a city that is defined by nothing other than gun violence, her policies have only worsened. Oh, and of course, any Chicagoan who wants to arm up to protect themselves against armed thugs who couldn't care less about firearm laws is forbidden from doing so.

Not surprisingly, some Republicans have taken Lightfoot to task for her dangerous remarks.

"If this isn’t a call to insurrection, what is?" tweeted Texas Scorecard publisher Michael Quinn Sullivan.

"You’d think she’d be more concerned with her crime riddled city but here she is gaslighting & inciting," wrote conservative pundit Rita Panahi, while pundit Matt Walsh wrote, "Not satisfied with the murders just in her own city, Mayor Lightfoot calls for more violence across the country."

"Call to arms? Are you declaring an insurrection? Civil war? What is wrong with you? Your city has the highest murder rate in the US with the strictest gun control laws. Now you are making things up and calling for war? Not a good idea. Democrats, the party of violence," Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) added in a tweet.

"Call to arms," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wrote adding the hashtag #DemMobViolence.

"Goldfish face here wants a civil war," former NYPD officer John Cardillo noted.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) also lashed out at Lightfoot, but she drew a response from the arrogant, tone-deaf left-wing mayor.

"The Mayor of the most violent city in America is here to worry about woke nonsense instead of people literally dying in the streets there..." she wrote, adding in another tweet: "Insurrectionist."

“Excuse me. Insurrection is your thing. Not ours,” the Chicago mayor replied in a tweet.

Not a single person arrested for taking part in the Jan. 6 false flag at the U.S. Capitol has been charged with 'insurrection' or 'sedition.' But this Democrat mayor just issued a "call to arms."

She should resign. She is a disgrace.
