FBI finds MORE classified documents at Joe Biden’s house as scandal now dwarfs that of Donald Trump
By JD Heyes // Jan 24, 2023

All Americans heard for weeks after the FBI conducted an unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in August, ostensibly to 'retrieve highly classified documents' that the regime knew were there for more than a year, was how awful it was and how much 'risk' the country was put under by the 'reckless act.'

Never mind that Trump, as president, had unrestrained authority to declassify any documents he wanted at any time during his presidency -- and he said following the raid he had done so regarding the documents he had in his possession before having his reelection stolen from him.

Suddenly, after similarly classified documents were found at a private office Joe Biden used in Washington, D.C., and at his Wilmington, Del., home, most of the same left-wing voices who claimed Trump had destroyed the country are silent over Biden's abuse. Worse, Biden was a U.S. senator and vice president; he has never had the authority to declassify those documents, now known to have been taken after he and Barack Obama served their two terms.

But now, the situation has gotten even worse: More documents were found at Biden's place after an FBI search (that was agreed to by Biden's lawyers, unlike Trump, who was never given a choice) over the weekend.

“DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President. DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years,” the president’s White House counsel said.

The search was conducted over a 12-hour period on Friday with the approval of the president’s attorneys, CNN reported:

Those six items are in addition to materials previously found at Biden’s Wilmington residence and in his private office.

The federal search of Biden’s home, while voluntary, marks an escalation of special counsel Robert Hur’s probe into the president’s handling of classified documents and will inevitably draw comparisons to his predecessor, former President Donald Trump – even if the FBI’s search of Trump’s residence was conducted under different circumstances.

Just days earlier, the Department of Justice decided not to monitor President Biden’s attorneys as they searched for classified documents he may have mishandled, according to The Wall Street Journal, clearly revealing a huge double standard. It should be noted that there is no indication yet that the president's attorneys have the appropriate government security clearances to view classified documents of any level.

In a letter last week to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), now head of the House Judiciary Committee, said that it was his committee’s responsibility to conduct “oversight” on the burgeoning scandal and added that he expected the DOJ to cooperate.

“On January 12, 2023, you appointed Robert Hur as Special Counsel to investigate these matters,” Jordan and Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) wrote. “The circumstances of this appointment raise fundamental oversight questions that the Committee routinely examines. We expect your complete cooperation with our inquiry.

“It is unclear when the Department first came to learn about the existence of these documents, and whether it actively concealed this information from the public on the eve of the 2022 elections,” the two lawmakers wrote.

“It is also unclear what interactions, if any, the Department had with President Biden or his representatives about his mishandling of classified material. The Department’s actions here appear to depart from how it acted in similar circumstances,” the letter continued.

The two lawmakers went on to rip Garland for approving a Gestapo-type raid on Trump's home.

“In fact, on August 8, 2022, despite the publicly available evidence of President Trump’s voluntary cooperation, you personally approved the decision to seek a warrant for excessive and unprecedented access to his private residence. On August 15, 2022, Committee Republicans wrote to you and FBI Director Christopher Wray requesting documents and information related to the FBI’s raid of President Trump’s residence,” they wrote.
