Many without the blessed hope are afraid of the next chapter in human history – and rightfully so, based on how the Bible describes it for the group that ends up going through it.

This "renewed interest in self-reliance," as the Wall Street Journal called it in a recent exposé about the sudden prepping surge, comes as the world is forced to grapple with not only the explosive situation in the Middle East, but also the fast-approaching cliff of the globalist economies, of which the United States is just one among many.
The Bible calls it "Mystery Babylon," that hidden system of government that some people call the "Deep State." It is about to be brought to ashes in just one hour, at which point it will likely be every man for himself. Many people can now see the approaching cliff with their own eyes and are stockpiling in response.

To illustrate how much public sentiment has shifted just in the past few years, roughly 33 percent of adults in the United States spent at least $149 last year purchasing things like non-perishable food, medical supplies and bottled water – just in case.

Keep in mind that this figure was determined before the recent escalation in the Middle East, but after Russia launched its "special operation" in Ukraine.

People young and old, single and with large families, left and right – really everyone – are having the scales removed from their eyes about just how serious world affairs really are becoming. It is not just another boy who cried wolf type of situation this time – this is the real deal.

The 'blessed hope which Paul mentions in his letter to Titus is the “hope of eternal life” This is the hope, that Paul states in the beginning of his letter and he reiterates this at the end of the letter.
Titus 1:2 “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”
Titus 3:7 “That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
verse 13 in chapter 2, is a reference to this hope and should be read in the context of Paul’s stated hope.
Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”
You will notice that there is no mention of a pretribulation rapture in Paul’s letter but that hasn’t stopped the pre-tribbers from hijacking the verse and twisting it to suit their misguided notion. A hope with no substance is no hope at all.
I hope this comment lends some clarity to Paul’s letter for those who are interested.
The TRUE rapture will happen when Jesus Christ comes in power and glory AFTER the great tribulation, whereupon he will send his angels with the great sound of a trumpet to gather /rapture his elect saints. The dead in Christ will be raised first and then Christians who are still alive will be CHANGED in the twinkling of an eye. Then the living saints will be gathered with the resurrected saints. Then we will ALL be caught up together to be with Christ in the air. This is a huge event and we wont just suddenly disappear.
This is NOT an invisible event, nor can it happen at any moment. We are told to watch out for the signs and events which will indicate that it is near. TRUE believers will recognise these signs and will be prepared when Christ's coming is near whilst unbelievers will be caught out because they are asleep and are ignoring Christ's teaching about his coming and the rapture.
Paul says that the apostasy must happen and that the man of sin must be revealed sitting in the temple before the rapture happens. But Christ will destroy the man of sin with the brightness of his coming.
