Today I'm announcing the much-anticipated launched of BrightAnswers.ai, which is a significant upgrade of our experimental AI engine that has been hosted at BrightU.ai for a few months.
BrightAnswers.ai is an uncensored deep research AI engine that harnesses a massive collection of curated books, science papers and articles which I have cleaned and indexed over the last 2 years using a self-built infrastructure of 48 workstations with Nvidia GPUs. This curated, cleaned knowledge set exists outside the core LLM and thus does not rely on the LLM's own internal knowledge for citing documents. (Since all LLMs hallucinate internal knowledge, we simply disable internal knowledge and provide extensive external knowledge to answer each prompt.)
The indexed knowledge collection currently harnessed by BrightAnswers.ai includes:
- 10,000+ curated published books. (This number is going to 50,000 in the next few weeks.)
- 75,000+ curated science papers across thousands of journals. (This number will exceed 1 million science papers within a few weeks.)
- Millions of curated articles from cutting-edge websites such as NaturalNews.com, Mercola.com, GreenMedInfo.com and many more. (Thousands of new articles are being added each month.)
No other AI engine in the world has access to this curated document set. On top of that, our AI engine benefits from 2+ years of training, using advanced techniques to modify base models such as abliteration, selective pruning, and selective SFT on new material. The result is an AI engine that beats everything else in the world (including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft, Meta, etc.) on important real-world questions on topics like climate, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, gender, finance, history and more. Nothing else in the world even comes close.
BrightAnswers.ai is available now and is free to use. Email registration is required after three prompts. Bright Tokens will soon be required to use the "advanced" mode of the engine that sources science papers and books, but currently that feature is available to all users, even without tokens. (Bright Tokens are the same tokens that can be used at BrightLearn.ai to create long books. They are a universal voucher system across our ecosystem of AI-powered solutions, with more application announcements yet to come.)
Funding for BrightAnswers.ai comes from HealthRangerStore.com where customers can also use loyalty points to acquire Bright Tokens which are vouchers for accessing advanced features of our various AI engines. All our AI engines offer a free tier with limited functionality, while accepting Bright Tokens to unlock advanced features. (Bright Tokens are not crypto, by the way. They are just vouchers.)
Note: BrightAnswers.ai is slower than other AI engines in terms of token output because it's using a reasoning mode to assess and incorporate all the related book passages, science papers and article chunks as it's composing the final answer. It is slow but exhaustively comprehensive, with full research document citations listed at the end of the answer. Each prompt answer replaces potentially hundreds of hours of human time, so have patience with it as it formulates a well-researched answer.
Recommending Related Books from BrightLearn
We've also begun to cross-promote the books created at BrightLearn.ai by displaying book thumbnails and links at the end of each prompt answer, making sure those books are strongly related to the user's prompt. BrightLearn.ai is a platform where users can create books on any topic, completely free, in minutes. So far, nearly 15,000 books have been published there by over 4,400 authors. Around 500 new books are published each day, and they are all available to download, read and share at zero cost to the end user.
