There’s a growing sentiment in America today that says people with white skin are open game for discrimination, mistreatment, and even violence by others. But if you dare to call this anti-white racism, then you’re the racist, as many leftists now claim that there’s no such thing as racism against white people.
Tucker Carlson addressed this hypocrisy during a recent segment of his Fox News show, which aired at Brighteon.com. Carlson talked about the recent hiring of anti-white racist Sarah Jeong to The New York Times (NYT) editorial board, emphasizing a disturbing double standard.
According to the NYT, Jeong’s hateful and racist statements against white people on Twitter are permissible because she’s a young Asian woman – meaning she can’t be racist. The leftist paper further claims that Jeong was actually the victim in this scandal because she was merely responding to racism allegedly directed at herself.
If Jeong was a white woman – or worse, a white man – calling people of another race goblins, and petitioning for them to be “cancelled” from society, would have resulted in an automatic firing and blacklisting from the journalism industry. But because Jeong is of a protected “minority” class, she’s actually being revered as some kind of heroic victim.
“Bigotry diminishes and hurts people,” Tucker explains during the segment. “But over time, the institutionalized left has decided to reject that idea, and embrace a standard that is both new and time-worn.
“You may have assumed that race guilt, collective punishment, moral purity based on bloodline – you thought those were discredited ideas, creepy relics of a darker time. It turns out they’re not. It turns out The New York Times wholeheartedly embraces those ideas. So does much of the left.”
There’s no question to any rational-thinking person that Sarah Jeong is a racist, and has no business working at a “credible” newspaper. But modern-day leftists seem to disagree, and are actually accusing Jeong’s critics of being what Jeong actually is – an angry, racist bigot who hates an entire group of people simply because of the color of their skin.
Keep in mind that Jeong’s comments were not directed at specific people who happened to be white, but rather at everyone who has white skin. She’s made countless racist statements against white people, the context of which is simple, obvious, and undeniable.
“People are getting fired for far less than this across corporate America right now, but The New York Times decided to double-down on Sarah Jeong’s behalf,” Tucker says, explaining that the NYT is actually blaming white people for Sarah Jeong’s anti-white racism.
“In other words, it’s not her fault – white racism caused Sarah Jeong’s racism against white people. She’s the victim here – Harvard graduate, ‘oppressed’ person that she is,” Tucker jokes.
So where are all of the rational, “color-blind” liberals to call out Sarah Jeong and the NYT for institutionalizing anti-white racism? They’re nowhere to be found. In fact, many of them, including Lydia Polgreen, the editor-in-chief of HuffPost, are vehemently defending Jeong, accusing her victims of being “far-right agitators” trying to shut down the “free” press.
“You’d think somewhere on the left, the last responsible person would be cringing at all of this,” Tucker says. “It’s all so ugly and awful. In an earlier time, it would be considered indefensible. But modern ‘progressives’ are happy not simply to defend it, but to attack anyone who questions the joy that Sarah Jeong derives from being cruel to white men.”
