Left-wing rioters in Kenosha are now setting fire to apartment buildings with families trapped inside
By Arsenio Toledo // Aug 27, 2020

Many journalists who were brave enough to follow the violent mob in Kenosha on Monday night while it carved a path of destruction throughout the city's main commercial areas were able to witness and record the rioters commit multiple senseless acts of violence. These include threatening journalists and police officers with firearms, assaulting people defending their property and setting fire to apartment buildings while its residents are still trapped inside.

The rioting began because Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man with a record of domestic abuse, resisted arrest and attempted to brawl with Kenosha Police Department (KPD) officers, which resulted in him getting shot in self-defense. Furthermore, this violence is happening despite the fact that Blake's own mother, Julia Jackson, believes that he would not have approved of mobs destroying Kenosha.

“He would be very unpleased. We need healing,” she said.

The situation in Kenosha is turning out to be far worse than what Antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement have already done in places like Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland. Here, rioters are resorting to even more brazen acts of violence. Here are just three of the many instances of unnecessary violence. (Related: ENOUGH! It's time for law enforcement to begin SHOOTING violent terrorists and rioters who are trying to burn America to the ground.)

Journalist threatened by rioter with a firearm

On Monday, Elijah Schaffer, a journalist for conservative news outlet The Blaze, was interviewing a Black Lives Matter rioter in Kenosha when the man pulled out a pistol and brandished it at Schaffer. Fortunately, the veteran reporter was unfazed by the incident and continued covering the incidents that occurred that night.

The rioter, a young African American man, reportedly pointed his pistol at Schaffer's camera while he was explaining what he would do to KPD officers if they “rolled up” onto where they were at that very moment.

With full conviction, the rioter talked about how he would shoot officers the moment they arrived.

Businessman assaulted for attempting to protect his property

In another video that went viral on Twitter, the owner of the Danish Brotherhood Lodge 14 in uptown Kenosha, an elderly White man, tried to defend his business from rioters running off with his establishment's contents when he was assaulted by a Black Lives Matter rioter.

In the video, the man was spraying rioters with a fire extinguisher in an attempt to nonviolently keep them from doing any more damage to his property or pilfering any more of the establishment's goods. Many of the people running out of the premises could be seen with their hands filled with items stolen from the lodge.

As he was doing this, a Black man came up from behind him and punched him in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. He seemed to have hit the ground hard, as the video showed him bearing a bloody gash on the right side of his face.

In another clip of the incident, wherein several people are helping the man who was assaulted, several of the rioters nearby attempted to justify their actions.

“We are trying to protect ourselves,” said one female rioter, who was arguing with the people trying to help the injured businessman.

“You don't understand what terrifies these Black men out here. They are not making it home to their families. Understand, respect, how about that? It's called respect.”

Rioters burn down apartment building

On Monday night, rioters started a fire in a two-story apartment building. It is unclear how many people were currently living in that apartment, but thanks to the violent mob, these people will now have to find new shelters for the time being.

In a livestream that was covering the fire, one woman could be heard saying that there were still people in the apartment building. “There's families trapped up in those apartments,” said the woman. “They can't get out.”

It is still unclear if the trapped residents were rescued. For comparison, it took first responders in Minneapolis two months before they were able to find the charred body of a man who was trapped in a pawn shop that was burned down. This means that an investigation needs to be conducted before the full extent of the damage can be ascertained.

The senseless violence in Kenosha shows that the influence Antifa and the Black Lives Matter movement have on America is spreading. Learn more about their history, tactics and recent criminal acts at AntifaWatch.news.
