"Even the higher authorities are under a higher authority. And the ultimate authority is God and there is no King but King Jesus, He is the ultimate authority. So when tyrants trample states' rights, when they trample constitutional rights and the law of nature, nature's God, the people and the states need to resist it. It's scripturally justified, it's justified throughout history," Johnston said during the June 27 episode of "America Unhinged" on Brighteon.TV.
The family practice physician and founder of the Association of Pro-life Physicians pointed out that when the federal government can't be held down by the chains of the Constitution, the states need to assert their right to govern their own people independent of the dictates of the federal government.
Johnston warned that if the U.S. dollar collapses, there will be anarchy in the streets and it would be devastating to America especially with people dying. He added that it is a frightening and realistic prospect because of the Federal Reserve's mismanagement of the country's wealth.
The author of 11 fiction novels, two film scripts and one non-fiction workbook also talked about his "Revolt" trilogy books that tackle the rise of a tyrannical federal government, which persecutes people of faith, people that don't vaccinate, people who homeschool and people who want to own guns.
"This is a fun trilogy, which can be instructive to people who don't have a vision in life," he said.
Johnston also has a new movie titled "Oberlin," a true story about the kidnapping of John Price by two U.S. Marshals on the streets of Oberlin in 1858. His previous movie titled "The Reliant," which is based on one of his books, has won 26 film festival awards, including acting awards for Kevin Sorbo and Mollee Gray.
Diamond asked Johnston about his opinion on the Roe vs. Wade, which was recently overturned by the Supreme Court. Johnston said there has always been a rescue movement in America that is fighting against abortion to rescue and protect the unborn. He pointed out that Roe v. Wade was invalid, not binding, unlawful and a crime.
"The attempt to legalize the slaughter of unborn children nationwide was a crime and the states have no duty to obey tyrannical rules but have a duty to resist it," Johnston said.
"With the case being overturned by the Supreme Court, the cowardly pro-life leaders have no excuse and they can no longer hide behind the Supreme Court decision. We should protect the unborn under the jurisdiction of criminal justice at the state and local level just like we protect any other children." (Related: Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, sending issue of abortion back to states where it always belonged.)
Johnston also stressed that the states need to resist the federal tyranny that is happening right now, with the federal government trying to take control of guns, property rights and the dollar.
According to Johnston, inflation is a federally designed tyrannical opportunity for people to raise taxes without political risks while protecting their cronies, the stock market and Wall Street buyouts.
"It is hurting the American people, especially the ordinary folks whose savings are being devalued. What the federal government is doing right now is harmful and dangerous and Americans need to do something about it."
Diamond agreed, saying that the federal government is 100 percent corrupt and beyond repair.
