An investigative reporter who received a tip about a "secret cell phone" paid for by Hunter Biden has revealed that he dialed the number at one point in 2019 and lo and behold, Joe Biden answered it.
In an interview this week with the streaming network Real America's Voice, Just the News editor John Solomon said the incident occurred while he was still working for The Hill, and it stunned both him and his editor at the time.
The existence of the phone was revealed by another investigative journalist and author, Peter Schweizer, in an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo.
“What is the line of communications between Hunter Biden and his business partners and Joe Biden when he’s Vice President of the United States?” Schweizer said. “It’s not the government phone. It’s not Joe Biden’s personal phone. We know from the laptop that Hunter Biden’s business paid for a private phone line that Joe Biden used while he was vice president."
“It was from AT&T. It was $300 a month. It was a global phone where you could access somebody anywhere around the world," he said, adding that he shared the “phone number and account information with the people over at the House Oversight Committee.”
In his Real America's Voice interview, Solomon said, “One of those documents got leaked to me, and it had a cell phone number that Hunter Biden was paying for, so I figured this was my chance. I’ve been trying to get fair comment from Hunter Biden, so I’m gonna call the cell phone.
“So I called the cell phone, and guess who picked up the phone? Joe Biden!” he added. “Joe Biden! Boy was he shocked when he got – when he picked up the phone and found out it was me, he hung up pretty quickly!”
John Solomon called the secret cell phone paid for by Hunter Biden.
And Joe Biden answered. He hung up very quickly.

Republicans on a number of House committees have been conducting several investigations into Biden family corruption.
House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said last month Republicans have identified nine Biden family members involved in the corrupt deals: “Joe Biden’s son. Joe Biden’s brother. Joe Biden’s brother’s wife. Hunter Biden’s girlfriend/Beau Biden’s widow, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife. Hunter Biden’s current wife. And 3 children of the president’s son and the president’s brother. So we’re talking about grandchildren – a grandchild. That’s odd. Most people that work hard every day...a grandchild doesn’t get a wire from a foreign national."
As for the phone, “I think it’s going to yield a lot of interesting information as to who Joe Biden was talking to on this phone that was being paid for by his son,” Schweizer said during a separate interview, this time with WABC’s Cats & Cosby.
Solomon also noted that Devon Archer, a longtime business partner of Hunter Biden, is in talks to provide more details about the corrupt Biden family operation, according to Breitbart News:
Archer, a Biden family business associate and Hunter’s “best friend in business,” was in legal trouble in 2022 for defrauding a Native American tribal entity and was ordered to pay a $43,954,416.75 judgment to the victims.
Prior to his arrest, Archer served in 2014 with Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine-based energy company. Archer was also photographed playing golf with then-Vice President Joe Biden in Southhampton, New York, in 2014. In 2016, Archer resigned from Burisma’s board after his arrest.
The outlet noted further that in 2019, Hunter Biden told Archer that part of being associated with the Biden family was the expectation of being persecuted.
“Every great family is persecuted in the US — you are part of a great family — not a sideshow, not deserted by them even in your darkest moments,” he said. “That’s the way Bidens are different and you are a Biden. It’s the price of power.”
