Now, as reported by Zero Hedge, it appears as though the fake news network CNN colluded with the FBI during the 2016 presidential election, specifically in the weeks surrounding the release of the infamous “Steele” dossier that, among other things, made several wild and phony allegations about Donald Trump’s personal life.
“In an April leak of the Comey memos, we learned that the former FBI Director briefed then-President-Elect Donald Trump on the dossier on January 6, 2017 after he wrote in a memo that various news outlets – ‘CNN in particular’ – were ‘looking for a news hook,’ and would soon be reporting on it,” Zero Hedge explains.
At the time, Comey wrote of his interaction with the President, “I said media like CNN had [the dossier] and were looking for a news hook.” But CNN, being a network that seems to care more about discrediting Trump than it does about facts and accurate information, considered Comey’s meeting with Trump to have made the document legitimate, and thus felt the need to report on it.
New emails that have been obtained by Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin suggest that former deputy Director Andrew McCabe had specific knowledge of CNN’s plans to publish news on the dossier.
“CNN is close to going forward with the sensitive story,” McCabe wrote in an email to Comey, James Rybicki, and two others just two days after Trump’s briefing in January of 2017. “The trigger for them is they know the material was discussed in the brief and presented in an attachment.” Notably, Andrew McCabe never revealed how he knew that CNN’s “trigger” to move forward with the dossier story was Comey’s briefing with then-President-Elect Trump. (Related: According to an independent investigator, the FBI and the Department of Justice should be criminally prosecuted.)
Shortly thereafter, McCabe wrote in a second email: “Just as an FYI, and as expected, it seems CNN is close to running a story about the sensitive reporting.” Once again, it’s not known how McCabe knew that CNN was going to report on the dossier and begs further investigation. (Related: Here is a complete timeline of FBI/Obama/Comey/Clinton collusion and treason against President Trump.)
The question that all Americans should be asking, regardless of political affiliation or whether or not they support President Trump, is this: If Andrew McCabe and others at the FBI really were interested solely in upholding the rule of law and getting to the bottom of the so-called “Russia collusion scandal,” why were they so concerned with whether or not the media picked up on the dossier story? Remember, McCabe mentioned that CNN was “close to running a story about the sensitive reporting” not once, but twice, which suggests that having media reporting on the dossier was at least somewhat important to McCabe and others in the FBI.
It really is a shame that the mainstream media has all but surrendered its journalistic responsibilities in exchange for becoming an appendage of the lying, corrupt Democratic Party. The high-level coordination between CNN and the FBI is a prime example of why so many Americans from all different backgrounds no longer trust the media or the government: Both are more concerned with destroying those on the opposite end of the political spectrum than they are with working for and representing the American people.
