Covington Catholic High bishop and school officials who initially believed their students were bigots now preventing those same students from defending themselves
By JD Heyes // Jan 24, 2019

Shortly after news broke that a group of mostly white, male Catholic teens — some wearing “MAGA” hats — allegedly mocked, harassed, and besmirched a Native American ‘elder’ following a March for Life event they attended in Washington, D.C., officials at the high school they attend in Kentucky threw them under the bus.

“We condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School Students toward Nathan Phillips specifically, and Native Americans in general," wrote the Diocese of Covington as well as officials at the all-boys private school in Park Hills, Ky.

“This behavior is opposed to the Church's teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person. The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion," the statement continued, with officials even threatening to “take appropriate action up to and including expulsion.”

Literally within hours, however, video and eyewitness evidence surfaced proving the teens weren’t just innocent regarding harassment of Phillips — a seasoned Leftist provocateur — but that he initiated the so-called “controversial” confrontation with them. Victimizing the teens -- twice

Now, despite the fact that false reports condemning the teens continue surfacing online and in print, school officials are moving to punish them once again by preventing from talking to the media, all while refusing to apologize for piling on and falsely accusing them in the first place, The Gateway Pundit reports.

“Like I said, the Bishop here is literally victimizing the victims twice. They’ve already been victimized by the media, now they are being victimized again,” one mother told the news site. “There is blood in the water and they are making it worse. They’re feeding the piranha frenzy from the liberal media.

“I just want people to understand that they need to wake up and stop believing the fake news and defend the kids,” she added.

That process would be aided if the teens weren’t being silenced by some of the same people who did what Jesus wouldn’t do: Bear false witness.
