Why a Third Party Won’t Save America, But It Might Help Manage the Reboot
By Mike Adams // Aug 28, 2026

The Temptation of a Third Party

For anyone who has watched the last decade of American politics unfold, the appeal of a third party is understandable. When figures with genuine integrity like Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Joe Kent stand up and declare the system broken, it is tempting to believe that a new political vehicle might somehow navigate around the wreckage of the two-party duopoly. Carlson has even described the U.S. political system as "totally incapable of responding to reality" [1], and Greene has vowed she is "DONE with the America LAST Republican Party" [2]. I respect that defiance. But I believe a third party at this point is incapable of halting the empire collapse that's already under way.

The logic behind the third-party temptation is rooted in the fantasy that our problem is a lack of capable leadership. Yet both Republicans and Democrats are catastrophically corrupt, and a new party would face enormous headwinds (and deep state intelligence sabotage efforts) that would make its chances of success extremely low. We would almost certainly end up stuck in the two-party Groundhog Day loop, and as I have stated before, the differences between the parties are ultimately "zero" on foundational questions [3].

The corruption is not a bug in the two-party system; it is the operating system that runs the entire empire. You cannot vote your way out of a prison when the prison is designed to look like a choice between two cell blocks.

The Rot Runs Deeper Than Elections

Reform from within has proven utterly futile. Consider the case of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a man who was given the keys to the Department of Health and Human Services. Yet even with the title of Secretary, he could not stop the FDA from approving deadly mRNA (depopulation) flu shots. This is the defining proof that the bureaucracy is an unaccountable fourth branch of government that overrules whoever is nominally in charge. The regulatory state doesn't care who sits in the Oval Office or which party holds the gavel; it exists to perpetuate its own power and the profits of its corporate masters.

No election, regardless of the party label of the winner, can fix the entrenched tyranny of agencies like the FDA, CDC, EPA, and ATF. These institutions have become the enforcement arm of a system that actively suppresses natural medicine and protects pharmaceutical monopolies. This is a deep state that operates with near-total impunity, making the charade of electoral politics a distraction from the real battle for human liberty. The idea that a fresh batch of legislators could dismantle the deep state is self-evidently absurd, as the military-industrial complex and intelligence agencies have made common cause with the regulatory state to ensure that no meaningful change ever reaches the surface.

The Empire Is Already Collapsing

The truth is that the American empire is already collapsing. The U.S. military, which spends more than the next ten nations combined, cannot defeat the Houthis or Iran, and its global credibility is in shambles. The bluster of American power has become an international joke. Meanwhile, the financial foundation of the republic is being detonated by the very policies championed by the establishment. Even Trump's recent tenure has accelerated the dollar's collapse and the devaluation of American living standards, with the system's flaws exposed as an accelerating currency crisis [4]. The dollar is headed for a catastrophic collapse, and the American way of life, as we know it, is finished [5].

The American empire, now run by tyrants and idiots, has become a net force of evil in the world. The endless wars, the sanctioning of entire populations into poverty, and the willingness to deploy bioweapons on its own populations have placed this nation beyond redemption [6]. The corruption is not isolated to one party or one administration; it is the festering expression of a system that has grown too large, too powerful, and too malignant to be steered. The ship of state has hit the iceberg, and no amount of rearranging the deck chairs on a new political yacht is going to prevent the sinking.

Only a Reboot, Not Reform, Can Save Liberty

The system is so corrupted that a complete collapse of the dollar, the treasury, and the Federal Reserve is not a possibility; it is a prerequisite for real reform. We need a hard reset, not a tweak. The government must be reduced to one-tenth of its current size, with states reclaiming their sovereignty and the Tenth Amendment reinforced as the cornerstone of governance. The Founders' vision was of a decentralized republic, not a gargantuan administrative state that dictates every aspect of daily life from Washington D.C.

Furthermore, the Bill of Rights must be expanded to address the realities of the 21st century. We must enshrine medical freedom by replacing the obsolete Third Amendment -- a relic of colonial-era grievances -- with a new amendment that protects all forms of healing. This is the only way to break the monopoly of the pharmaceutical cartel and restore the right of individuals to choose natural, holistic, and safe alternatives. It's time to prioritize the health of the American people over the profit margins of Big Pharma. We need a new republic forged from the ashes of this one, where the rights of the people are sovereign and the corporations are not.

Rooting for the Reboot Team

All that said, I am rooting for Tucker Carlson and his allies because they represent a much-needed rejection of the status quo. But I'm a realist. We won't vote our way out of this mess. The power structures arrayed against the American people are too entrenched, too wealthy, and too ruthless. The only path forward that leads to a positive future is a collapse and a rebuilding. It may be painful, but it is the only path that leads to the actual restoration of our constitutional republic as founded.

The real mission isn't to "save" the current American state, but to build a new republic that honors the founders' vision of liberty -- a nation where individuals are free to heal themselves with nature's wisdom, where money is honest, and where the government serves the people rather than the other way around. America can't be saved as currently structured as a bloated, arrogant, cruel and corrupt state. Chaos and collapse are coming whether you like it or not. My hope is that from the chaos, we will build something worth protecting for future generations.
